Chicken E Akhbar

3 lbs Chicken
2 cartons Natural Yoghurt
1/4 tsp Ginger powder
1 tsp Chilli Powder
1 tsp Jeera
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Haldi
2 Cardamom
1 piece Cinnamon
4 Cloves
2 Large Onions - sliced
4oz Margarine or butter
1 tbsp Flaked Almond
2 tbsp Cream
1/4 tsp Cinammon powder

Mix spices with Yoghurt, put chicken into the mix and leave several hours or overnight in the fridge.

Fry the onions with the cinnamon piece till brown. Put in chicken mixture. Rinse the marinading bowl
with 1 cup of water and put with the chicken. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 30 to 45 minutes.
Add in the cinnamon powder, almonds and cream. Simmer for a further 15 to 20 minutes.
