Very
little is available from this period, there are no photographs just a
handwritten log of movements and a certificate of a mention in
despatches. His reconstituted flying log mentions
Bristol
Blenheim and Vickers Wellington in 1938 and 1940 respectively on the Aircraft in Which Flown
page. However there is no log of the actual dates and times
of
the flights in these aircraft. I presume that the information
was
not to hand when the log was reconstituted in Bermuda after loss of the
log in the water loop and write off of Catalina W8430 at Elizabeth City
on 31 January 1943.
