


2 Carrots Finely diced
12oz Potatoes boiled and diced
1 Medium sized onion (chopped of course)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Haldi powder
2 Tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Mustard seed
1/4 tsp Ginger Powder
2 Red chillies finely chopped
1 tsp Salt
Fry onions with crushed chilli, ginger powder and mustard
seeds until the onion browns.
Add rest of spices and fry for a few more minutes. Add diced carrots
and 1/4 pint water.
Cook till carrots are soft (10-15 minutes). Add diced potatoes and mix.
Mango powder or
lemon juice can be added.
8 oz Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Margarine
3oz Water
Rub margarine into flour and salt. Add water and mix to
pastry. Divide into 8 equal ball portions.
Roll out and cut in half. Put the filling mix on, fold over and seal.
Fry in deep fat or bake in
an oven.
