Scampston is located in North Yokshire near the town of Malton on the Scarborough road. The planting is exciting and innovative with some interesting specimens. On the day of our visit there was heavy rainfall just as we arrived so it was into the Cafe for a drink and then in to the garden as soon as it stopped. The rain provided an added bonus of water droplets sparkling on some of the leaves.
